22 - 3-4 LAST 10 DAYS IN OAXACA

It is Saturday and I've been messing with this all morning and afternoon.  Time to shower and meet Carolynne for Wine with Marsha in Jalatlaco.       We arrived with a welcome by Marsha, followed by a tour of her new home.  She gave us the grand tour of this beautiful two level home with a terrace on the roof.  Two more guests arrived and we were served some wine and a fantastic spread of delicious cheeses, salami, stuffed dates, fresh pineapple with nuts.  It was very pleasant and we all enjoyed the conversation.

It was getting dark when we departed for Toscas Italian Restaurant just around the corner to have a pizza.

We ate the Pizza before I got photos...nice evening.

Next morning was our standard PAN AM Breakfast.  Easter Decorations are going up everywhere.

DUCK TO GET UNDER THE UMBRELLA

That afternoon was a Quince Party for a Fifteen year old "Coming of Age" type of family celebration that our Landlord set up in the parking lot for one of their employees or co-workers whose daughter was being honored.  This was a big deal with a band, photographers, drinks , food and presents for the lucky lady.

CHERI AND CAROL

HOSTESS LULU AND HOST HECTOR LAST DANCE?

Tuesday I had a 9:30 Massage that was one of the best ever.  Very physical to help with me
circulation.  After Eliz finished with me, I joined Helen at Santa Hierba for breakfast and a
nice conversation with a good friend.

The next day , Carol and I decided to take a trip to the new location of Morocco Restaurant.  We
soon discovered they only had seating for 6 and had a reservation so put in a take out order and later returned for a nice dinner on her patio.

Carol was leaving Friday and today was our Domino Day at the library.  Maddie joined us, along with a new couple from Portland.  We enjoyed it, and Carol took home another victory on her farewell game.  Maddie joined us for lunch at Las Ramblas so we could both bid Salma and Arnud goodbye for a few months. I leave in 6 days.

Carol got her Covid Test after and finished packing.  She was in Lubbock Texas the next evening with her family.

I ENJOYED LASAGNE AND WINE

FORGOT MY SHOPPING BAG BUT POCKETS WORK

In case you are wondering about all that rich eating and wonderful food I've been packing away?  I've lost 20 pounds with all the walking instead of driving around in Arizona.

I will make this my last post before I leave in two days....next post will be sometime in Mid April...stay cool...enjoy life.
