Domino Day to start my return from Zipolite and Maddie's reunion in Puerto Escondido. She beat me. No photos...we chatted about our trip over Bhuda Bowls at Aquacate.

Lots of people out shopping and some festive activities but I've been laying low. Cold..down to 75% during the day! I tried going back to playing pool but someone "borrowed" my Q-Stick from our communal locker so now have to buy another. I played one day with a borrowed one and shot terrible.

Christmas isn't a buying extravaganza like the US. Children don't get lots of presents on Christmas Day...usually in January they get ONE plus?

Today there is an exhibit by Photography students at the Museum as well as another exhibit and sale by individual local Photographers that I am attending.
This was rinsed in Sea Water while being developed .
Camera with no lenses...hence the light effects on the photographic paper. Not the Rolleflex.This women sews thread on to the photograph...I bought one.

Stalls going up around the Zocalo to house the Sculptured Radish Scenes created by aspiring food artists. Event is held each year and started in the late 1800's. It's Christmas Eve and the last day when everyone comes to stand in line for hours and walk around the boothsI will take a rain check...it is raining out and cold...high of 66 today
Chilly enough to stay in today. I went out late afternoon to get some hot Vegetarian Ramen. Very good.

The library had a Sale. I donated some photos so bid on this one. Someone outbid me the last day.
The white dots contain red dye used for the Caps and Robes of the Cardinals...as well as other uses. It was more valuable than gold at one time.

As I was leaving a crowd of school children were coming in. The leader was carrying a Nativite Scene and others Candles. They wear Caroling and put on a brief concert in the Center of the Market.
Made my fruit salad after breakfast on the day before Christmas. After breakfast at Ayuk...of course.
The Library hosted close to 100 for the Pot Luck afternoon Dinner.
Lots of smiles and great food to enjoy.

I decided I was getting fat...gained 10 lbs and had not been walking...so off for an afternoon Photo Walk.A Suprise Christmas gift from Ancestry...Great Grandfather John Lietz GreatGrandmother Mary Lietz with their 4 daughters from left to right Edith, ? , Julia...my Grandmother at 16yo? and Mary. 2 Husbands? On thier farm in Western NY around 1913-14.
This woman stopped and Blessed herself at least 10 times.
